Barney’s love of dance started at the University of British Columbia Ballroom Dance Club, leading to an exploration of a great variety of partner dances, and co-founding the Uptown Swing Collective, a non-profit dedicated to bringing live swing jazz music and Lindy Hop dancing to New Westminster. During his two decades of dance teaching, he has developed a reputation for providing fun classes in a clear and easily accessible fashion.
