This workshop series explores factors that contribute to cognitive health. Facilitated by neuropsychologist Dr. Noah Silverberg and supervised trainees, participants will learn about factors that contribute to cognitive health, strategies for maintaining cognitive health, and compensatory strategies to support cognitive functioning, with a particular focus on memory. Topics include how cognition and memory works, the relationship between stress and cognition and strategies to optimize cognitive functioning under stress, strategies for remembering what I hear, what I read, and what I plan to do, and goal management strategies.
When: Fridays weekly from 10:00-11:30AM (August 21 - September 25)
Where: Zoom
Interested participants can register by emailing cog.screening@psych.ubc.ca. A Zoom link will be sent to the participants who successfully registered prior to the classes. Registration is done on a first-come, first-served basis, with a capacity of 20 participants.
