Care Partner Workshop: The Power of Befriending Ourselves
Shame. Guilt. Regret. We’ve all been there. Shame draws our focus inward and diminishes us. Guilt can be a never-ending treadmill of bad feelings. Regret is one of the most common human emotions. These feelings are deeply human. We want to face them, but acknowledging their presence can be painful. Join us to talk about these strong emotions that can be present in the caregiving experience, and how cultivating compassion, courage, and connection helps us to recognize our hurts and fears, befriend ourselves, and live with more presence and peace.
