A recent grad of Simon Fraser University's Theatre and Performance program, Rosemary is passionate about creative collaboration and community building. She is the Improv for Wellness Manager with Improv for Work and Wellness, and the Education Director with Queerprov. Rosemary also runs a weekly Dungeons & Dragons program for pre-teens. With 10 years of experience as an improviser, she is grateful for the opportunity to continue sharing all the benefits that improv can offer!

Taylor Montalbetti

Taylor Turmel Montalbetti is a Vancouver-based actor, improviser, and theatre artist with a passion for storytelling through spontaneity, connection, and play. They have been performing improv across Canada since 2008, developing a unique voice rooted in physical theatre, clown, and mask work—an artistic foundation sparked during her upbringing on Salt Spring Island.

Improvisation has always been her artistic anchor. Taylor’s work deepened after joining the cast of Paper Street Theatre Company in Victoria, BC. There, she discovered a profound love for narrative-based improv and the transformative potential of applied improvisation. Now based in Vancouver, Taylor has been an ensemble member with Tightrope Impro Theatre and a player with Regency Impro, where she also serves as Co-Artistic Director. She is the founder and operator of The Village; a one-woman initiative that brings improv and play-based practices into recovery and community care spaces within Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

Beyond improv, Taylor works in scripted theatre and arts education. She has collaborated with Douglas College on several productions, most recently as Assistant Director and Dramaturg for Black Watch, and Assistant Director for the 2023 production of The Moors. She is currently directing Wild Abandon at  The Vancity Culture Lab.
