About the Instructors:

Patricia

Patricia is a PhD and Master of Nutrition and Dietetics student at the University of British Columbia. Beyond her research, she loves experimenting in the kitchen, especially with pasta dishes! While she enjoys cooking, her favourite part of any meal is always dessert. She believes good food is meant to be shared, and there’s always room for something sweet!

Tara

Tara is a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics student at the University of British Columbia. When she is not busy studying, one of her favourite pastimes is cooking meals with friends. Tara loves to share her passion for food with others!

Sarah

Sarah is a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics student at UBC. While she is still discovering her future career path, one thing is certain: she loves being in the kitchen! For Sarah, the kitchen is a portal to her culture and heritage: cooking dishes she grew up with, reconnecting with familiar flavours, and recreating traditional foods she cannot find locally. Sarah loves sharing the joy of food with others, believing it is not only nourishment, but also a celebration of identity, creativity, and community.
