Join us for an engaging presentation on older adult mental health with Dr. Nelly Oelke! She will share her work on fostering mental health conversations among older adults, healthcare providers, and care partners. Her work has led to the development of a toolkit, now entering the testing phase across provinces. Dr. Oelke's presentation will highlight the Mental Health Continuum for Aging Adults, the toolkit, and approaches to starting conversations on mental health with community providers and adults 55 and over.

About the Speaker:
Dr. Nelly Oelke is an Associate Professor at the School of Nursing at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan. She also is a Scientific Director at the Rural Coordination Centre of BC. Nelly is a health services researcher with a focus on primary care, primary healthcare, interprofessional teams, mental health, rural health, and health policy. She has expertise in knowledge translation, integrated knowledge translation, deliberative dialogue, and patient-oriented research.
