Brain-Power Kitchen

Join us for a hands-on, nutrition-focused cooking series where we learn with each other to build on the skills and knowledge you already have. Together, we’ll explore new ways to make informed food choices and create sustainable eating habits.

Each class, you’ll enjoy:

  • Nutrition guidance grounded in Canada’s Food Guide

  • Cooking demonstrations from chefs and other guest presenters

  • Real-time Q&A with a registered dietitian

  • Practical strategies for navigating fatigue, food labels, and budget-friendly meals

  • A welcoming space to share ideas, cook, and connect with others

Led by dietitians, dietetics students, and guest chefs, these interactive sessions blend cook-alongs with guided discussions on creative ways to reduce waste, make the most of seasonal ingredients, preserve foods, build balanced meals, and celebrate food traditions. Whether you want to refine your skills, share your favorite tips, or simply enjoy cooking alongside others, you’ll leave each class with fresh ideas, new recipes, and even more confidence to care for your body and brain.
